Amber graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Movement Science and has since explored her own movement across the country and to different jobs. She got her start in medicine working with athletes at UM in the athletic training program and then by helping choking patients at restaurants in Iowa. Now she can be found ski patrolling and exploring the mountains of Colorado in the winter and instructing for Outward Bound in Oregon in the summers. In between, she teaches for NOLS Wilderness Medicine and works on her passion/obsession of knitting.
