Deev is fascinated by nature, and living in a natural surroundings to draw inspiration. He started working as an outdoor educator in 2003 but still considers nature is the greatest teacher. Deev first came to NOLS to take the India Trip Leader Course in 2005. He returned to NOLS in 2011 as an Instructor in Training position on a mountaineering course in India. In 2012, he took his Instructor course in Alaska, and has been working for hiking and sea kayaking courses at different NOLS locations every year. When Deev is not working in the wilderness, he likes traveling, and teaching Permaculture and Yoga. Born in India, he lives in Germany but believes he's first and foremost a citizen of the world.
