Jim has worked in outdoor education since the early 90's, instructing in multiple environments for skills such as canoeing, canyoneering, climbing, skiing, and backpacking. Jim has been a Wilderness-EMT since1995 and an instructor for NOLS Wilderness Medicine since 1996. He has years of experience in search and rescue, pre-hospital patient care, and outpatient primary care. Originally from New Mexico, Jim lives in Lander, WY and works full-time at the Lander Medical Clinic. He spends his free time skiing, climbing and riding bikes on the rural roads of WY with his wife and son.
