Kelsey grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia, and first started coming to Wyoming in the summer of 2008 when she had an internship at 3 Peaks. She first took a horse-packing course in 2007, and then took the 3 Peaks instructor course in 2011. Kelsey has supported NOLS over the years with field and in-town work. Her favorite outdoor activities are horse-packing, backpacking, and hiking. Her spirit animal is a snowy egret.
