Raised by wolves in the western states, Renee Jenkinson has come far from her furry past. Along the journey Renee has been spotted ski patrolling in Oregon, exploring the wilds of the world with teen girls, and teaching everything from art to medicine from the wet forests of Mt. Hood to the sunny shores of Senegal. Renee now makes her home on the Big Island of Hawaii. When she's not in the water, she teaches biology, anatomy and physiology, and hones her Bob Ross-inspired whiteboard teaching and interpretive dance skills. Renee has a degree in public health and has been an EMT since 2001 and a NOLS Wilderness Medicine instructor since 2003.
