Ross grew up in the bountiful loess hills of the Missouri River Valley known to some as Nebriowa. He has migrated across the country working in the outdoor industry for the better part of ten years now as a raft guide, outdoor educator/instructor, program manager, and self-proclaimed director of fun. Currently Ross is working with Winona State University’s Outdoor Education and Recreation Center (OREC) doing his part to get new students hooked on outdoor activities while earning his MS in Educational Leadership. When Ross isn’t teaching you can find him climbing the hills of southeast Minnesota, paddling the backwaters of the mighty Mississippi, or roaming the Colorado Rockies when he can sneak away.
