Thea has worked as an educator for the last 8 years, teaching a variety of topics ranging from chemistry to sea turtle biology and rainforest ecology to backpacking skills and wilderness medicine. Having taught in a variety of settings, her favorite classrooms have one thing in common—they are outside in beautiful places! Originally from New England, Thea made her way west and south working with a variety of schools and educational organizations. She began instructing with NOLS Expeditions in 2008 and later joined the ranks of NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
