NOLS expanded its offerings to organizations in an effort to share its proven leadership and risk management curriculums with like-minded clients who share the school’s passion for experiential learning. 

In 1999, the world’s leading aeronautics and space program approached NOLS to utilize the school’s innovative leadership curriculum. Leveraging the expedition model, the agency found that their participants could increase their threshold for uncertainty by adapting to variables that inevitably arise and complicate a group’s plans. Through that first engagement, the school has developed and grown its business-to-business solutions for organizations across many industries and areas of expertise.
